Background
Originally from Kiev, but has lived in the states for over a decade. Patchelli's parents still live in Kiev, his mother Sareena is a home maker, and his father Ivan is still a medical doctor. Patchelli is an only child.
Dr. Ivanovich's family were good citizen's all of their lives, doing their duty for the mother country. His father worked as a physician at Kiev's primary hospital, and spent his spare time giving medical aide to the homeless. His mother was a home maker, though on any given night, their home had at least three or four people who were recieving food and shelter from his parents.
As a child, he was raised with a gentle and loving family, getting to see the benefits of helping others first hand. His father wanted him to become a medical doctor, but was supportive of his decision to become a pyschiatrist.
Patchelli attended a very prestigious university in Kiev, and majored in Child Psychology with a minor in theatre. His stage performances earned him the admiration of a few well-connected citizens. This kept him out of the wars in Afghanistan, and on Kiev's stages.
Shortly after the Soviet Union crumbled and Kiev became the capital of the Ukraine, Patchelli left for the United States to pursue a very lucrative job offer in New Orleans.
He never had a problem making friends, and was a very gregarious person. His parents had stressed helping others throughout his childhood, and he maintained a large network of people who once needed a hand, and had become close friends.
In New Orleans, he was called Uncle Patches by the runaways and homeless that he harbored. Most of the runaways made their way back home, due to his ministrations, and many of those who didn't go home found new ones.
When Hurricane Katrina decimated New Orleans, he immediately joined in the relief effort for the next two to three months. After the Hurricane, however, he decided a change of location wouldn't hurt, leaving the coast in late december. He has been in Conneticut for a little over six months, living off of his savings. He made friends with a few acting troupes in New Haven, but wanted to return to his career helping people.
Appearance
Dr. Ivanovich has an erect posture, and piercing eyes. His hair is beginning to thin, but the Ukranian man has made no effort to hide it. While in the office, his dress is formal and proper. However, while not working, he wears loose fitting clothes and bright colors.
